What can we help you with?

Border Cycling has been providing coaching and coach education since opening as biking accommodation in Innerleithen in 2008. Things have moved on from our beginnings as bespoke cycling accommodation.
Now an independent coach and consultant Chris, The Bike Coach, has in the past, worked as a lead coach educator and coach, developed qualifications and training for FE colleges, delivered bike and disability specific CPD and worked with numerous athletes and riders, helping them to achieve their goals whether that is success on a local trail or selection for national squads.
Chris continues to deliver MTB sessions for Scottish Cycling and you can find details of forthcoming sessions here.

Post lockdown Chris and a small team now provide quality skills coaching, annual training plans (road, mtb, track and cyclocross) and coach development to organisations or individuals from their favourite part of the Tweed Valley.
The team are PVG & disclosure checked, able to work with both children and adults.
All lead coaches hold valid outdoor first aid, mountain bike leadership and coaching qualifications.

Any bike repairs will be carried out by qualified mechanics. We often work by referring clients to other professionals when we need help, this may be to cover specialisms like strength and conditioning, nutrition or sports science support. All our activities are fully insured and provided within the scope and recommendations of our governing bodies.

Covid 19
Covid 19 continues to provide challenges to us all. All our sessions will be held outdoors, whatever the weather until further notice.
